How to raise grades before semester’s end? 4 effective methods no teacher will tell you about

The end of the term is fast approaching and your average is not even average? The mid-term meeting is dragging on and you don’t even want to think about your parents’ reaction to your grades? Improve them! Find out about the patents that will save you from this stalemate!

Of course, the grades do not reflect your knowledge and skills, but so far nothing better has been invented to verify your learning progress at school. And unfortunately, many adults still pay too much attention to the grade average. So instead of sitting with your hands tied and waiting for the worst to happen, act!

Improve test grades

It’s kind of obvious, but it is impossible not to mention it. So while there is still time, roll up your sleeves and correct those sad balls in your journal. It will require additional studying in the short term or different preparation.

Yes, it’s about cheat sheets. The time before the end of the semester is always intense and it’s normal that you may not take in all the revision material. That’s why – even as part of learning! – prepare yourself additional learning aids. Even so, remember that teachers aren’t stupid and know most cheating methods. However, hardly anyone will do anything for a pen. And that it will be the Forbidden Pen® is a different story …;)

Be active – not just during classes

Everyone knows to frequently raise your hand (if you know the answer). However, few teachers will tell you that various extracurricular activities are also willingly rewarded. After all, when you are such an engaged student who is willing to help with many activities, you deserve an extra A in your grade book. In what situations can you count on an “extra” positive grades?

Participation in contests and olympiads

If you’re ambitious, and are additionally counting on skipping the final exam from the particular subject (and some contests allow for that), study, participate and win consecutive rounds. However, very often teachers reward just the participation with an additional grade, because, let’s be honest, there aren’t crowds lining up for these events. This is your chance!

You don’t even have to study. It’s enough that you show up, take the test, and that’s it. And with a little bit of luck, you’ll pass further on, which will make you grow in the teacher’s eyes. And additional day off from school is always a plus! As far as you see, it’s all positives.

Additional school activities

Do you have acting skills? Can you set up a projector and computer? Have you always been hooked on the console? Or maybe you sing beautifully in the shower? Use it! Apply to the additional interest circle (which may be led by your teacher, so he will notice your activity) and show that you know it very well. This will set you apart from other students and make you more likely to be rewarded with positive grades.

The second patent for better grades is active participation in all kinds of school events. Apply for a variety of shows and support them as an actor/sound engineer/singer/computer/guest/ add another activity needed to organize the event here. Thanks to this, you will relieve the teacher a bit in his unflattering role of the showrunner, which may be appreciated by an additional A in your grade book. After all, you support your school so much!

Just talk to the teacher

Teachers are people too, and most of them can get along humanly. Be honest and lay your matter out – ask what you can do to get a better grade at the end of the term. Make a list of the arguments why you really deserve this chance. You will very often get it if you conduct a substantive and calm conversation.

Write an application for a higher grade in this subject

Depending on the status of the school, it is very often possible to submit an application to the teacher or headmaster for a higher grade than expected. However, you must have strong arguments for this and take into account an additional exam to verify your skills. However, if you are confident in yourself and your knowledge – go ahead! You have nothing to lose, end everything to gain. Good luck!

And if all else fails… try the Forbidden Pen®! Check how it will help you in an emergency situation during the exam!
